St. Louis Children's Hospital completed its landmark Building for Care, Searching for Cures campaign, having raised a grand total of $130,210,785 for ongoing programs and services, facility expansion and the establishment of the Children's Discovery Institute. The campaign's final tally was $5 million over its initial goal of $125 million.

"On behalf of all of our patients, their families and our employees, I can't express enough gratitude to the large group of long-term and new supporters of the Hospital that stepped forward in this campaign.  It was an ambitious fund raising goal for an equally ambitious vision of our future and we couldn't be more thrilled about exceeding the campaign goal," says St. Louis Children's Hospital President Lee Fetter.  "This is also wonderful for St Louis as it helps us solidify our standing as one of the nation's premier children's hospitals."
